After many years of advisory board work, Stefan Keitel (55) has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Harald Quandt Holding GmbH & Co. KG (HQ) in Bad Homburg since 2020 and moved to the Supervisory Board of the HQ Group in January 2023 in order to be able to devote himself exclusively to mandate tasks in the future. Before that, he was Chairman of the Management Board of Deka Investment for around 5 years and CEO Asset Management and Chief Investment Strategist of Deka Bank. Other professional positions included the Hamburg private bank Berenberg and Credit Suisse, where Stefan Keitel was responsible for all divisions as Global Chief Investment Officer and Co-Head of Global Portfolio Management for around 13 years. Stefan Keitel is a trained banker (Deutsche Bank) and holds a degree in business administration with a focus on finance from the University of Mainz.

Keitel is a member of various supervisory and advisory boards, holds various investments and has been the main shareholder of the renowned Frankfurt Airport Club since the beginning of September 2023. In addition to his HQ mandate as Senior Advisor to HQ Trust GmbG and his long-standing role as investment advisor to the Schadeberg (Krombacher) family, he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of SG Value Partners AG and a member of the Board of Directors of Genesis Investment Partners AG in Zurich since 2022, a member of the Board of Directors of Schumpeter Ventures/FineVest Fund AG in Liechtenstein, a Senior Advisor (DACH region) of Andera Partners in Paris and a member of the Advisory Board of Ventura Capital in London.

He has also been an honorary curator of the Ifo Friends Society in Munich (ifo Institute) since 2012 and was elected to the board in June 2023. He has also been serving as the official ambassador of the Franz Beckenbauer Foundation on a voluntary basis since 2021 and has also been a member of the Board of Trustees since October 2023.

Stefan Keitel is married, has 2 daughters (28, 22) and lives in his hometown of Bingen am Rhein with a second home near Santanyi on Mallorca.
